We had a fantastic turnout at our annual General Membership Meeting on Saturday, January 8th 2011. The evening began with tasty food provided by the Grain Train Deli, along with fresh brewed coffee and tea, and even creative projects co-op Member/Owner children in attendance.
The meeting that followed included an opportunity to meet our new General Manager Bob Struthers, the annual report from the Grain Train Board of Directors as well as thoughtful discourse between the attendees and the board.
After the meeting was adjourned, the ballot count was concluded and we are pleased to announce that Carolyn Belknap, David Heidtke and Allie Maldonado (incumbent) were elected to serve three year terms on the Grain Train Board of Directors. We would like to thank Curt Regentin and Troy Smith for their interest and willingness to serve on the board and participate with their co-op. The proposed Bylaw changes also passed.
