At the Grain Train, we’re dedicated to serving our community with a diverse product selection focused on local, natural and organic foods.

We concentrate on products free from artificial additives, growth hormones, antibiotics, and harmful substances.

We also avoid sourcing from companies that violate workers’ rights, conduct animal testing, or harm the environment.

We prioritize businesses that minimize their ecological impact in their growing, production, and packaging practices.

We believe quality, ethical practices, great taste, and affordability should go hand in hand.

Our selection is designed to meet both the needs and budget of our community as a whole, ensuring that our stores reflect our commitment to health and sustainability.

Our Focus

Grain Train believes that some products are better for both people and the planet than others. As a result, our focus will remain on carrying products that we believe inspire healthy choices

We also believe in serving the needs of a diverse customer base allowing our customers to choose the products that best support their lifestyle. The few products that do not meet our priority standards will be clearly labeled.

The Grain Train prioritizes the following products and production methods:

• Local Certified Organic
• Non-Certified Local produced according to organic standards
• Certified Organic, Non-Local
• Non-GMO Project Verified products
• Fair Trade products
• Products free of artificial preservatives, colorings or flavorings, hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils, trans fats, high fructose corn syrup, synthetic sweeteners, and synthetic nitrates or nitrites
• Non-irradiated products
• Products that do not use animals for research or testing purposes
• Recyclable packaging
